Working Principle Wet Granulation
The raw materials are charged into the granulation bowl through a vacuum feeding system or manual loading. A binder solution is then introduced into the mixing chamber through a spraying system, allowing the powder particles to become properly wetted and prepared for granulation.
As the impeller rotates at high speed, it generates a strong vortex flow inside the bowl. This vortex motion promotes intensive mixing and kneading of the powder mass, enabling the particles to collide, agglomerate, and gradually form moist granules.
At the intersection zone of the material flow, a side-mounted high-speed chopper breaks and cuts the tumbling wet mass into smaller granules. This process ensures that the granules produced have uniform particle size, consistent structure, and good flow properties, making them suitable for subsequent processing steps such as drying, tablet compression, or capsule filling.
